The Conception of SciX

Observes Gloryvee and her team that in 2015, many IoT devices were being released into the market with very little data to support its functionality. “In medical science, these devices were merely monitoring conditions and displaying data on applications. The factors needed to create smarter devices were unknown. Thus, automation and predictive modeling became our focal point.” She quickly adds that these devices should be programmed to monitor, predict and prevent life-threatening medical events, such as preventing a heart attack. “To do so, we would require not just IoT technology, but the use of science-based research, AI/ML predictive systems and blockchain technology to support the scalability of these applications, and establish the right foundation for the future of connected health solutions that support metaverse networks and decentralized applications.”

Custom Analytics for Blockchain Operations and Enterprises

SciX is a science-based company focused on scientific, medical research used to customize the data algorithms with capabilities of aggregating biometrics, data collections, and formulate precise outputs and responses for different medical conditions. “We established a blockchain infrastructure early in our development model as a method of securing patient information, creating transparency and establishing decentralization as part of our architecture.” The system, a scalable one, uses microservices to support its growth and a collection of smart contracts enables expansion into multiple markets. This also helps create a white-label solution for existing IoT devices and other connectivity products with back-end infrastructure needs to support its growth and deployment.

The Blockchain Journey

There are multiple options when considering decentralizing, tokenizing and going blockchain on current operations, notes Gloryvee. She adds that immutability is the primary factor that a company needs to focus on, while implementing blockchain. “Even if this is a need, there are options beyond a blockchain that can be considered. However, one of the major reasons you want to review and consider would be establishing identity and trust. The other would be in creating a connected network within a decentralized, metaverse world; most of these operations and their definitions are currently being explored and not fortified, so be smart about integrations and its efficacy.”

Ideally, these migrations are much simpler for smaller entities than larger enterprise companies. Thus, companies like SciX become inevitable in assisting and becoming the backbone of industry expansions, creating solutions for the masses.

Leadership Traits

Be a life-long learner, advises this technology enthusiast. “Our team loves the exploration and discovery process. I am a strong believer that the greatest discoveries are found by accident, so exploring the unknown helps us excavate future innovation within emerging technologies.”

Being a leader requires being a visionary, staying confident, being passionate about what you do and resilient through the journey, and believing without question you will discover something greater, more impactful that makes a significant difference. “This becomes your fuel, your daily motivation. There is no failure. Failure is an illusion because with every single attempt, you learn, you build, you create, and it never ends. There is always improvement.”

A Word of Advice

“Many smaller startups chase after everything they see trending in the market. That can lead to losing focus on what you are attempting to solve. Keep your original vision. Stay connected to it, and do not chase after anyone or anything. Just explore to try and find solutions for your vision. Slow and steady wins. Stick to it, keep at it, and learn every step of the way.”

The Success Mantra

Gloryvee’s success mantra consists of being open to learning. “Be like a child who wants to explore everything and learn about everything. We allow ourselves to be open to what can come to us. We become magnets to all that is meant for us to find. It is more about finding alignment and peace with what we are working on. Let go of any limitation that inhibits or impedes the growth you desire for your company, your vision and your projects. Finally, my biggest mantra is to never give up because if something is meant for you, it is already yours. You will find it; it will find you’’, she signs off.
