In 2010 he was awarded as Person of the year and his name was listed in the top 100 wealthiest and most influential person in the world.

Initial achievement of Mark was a communicating platform called as ZuckNet, developed to connect computers of his home and his father’s dental office. He started his professional life in very young age during his high school years with a company named as Intelligent Media Group.
Later when he joined his college he gained a “reputation as a programming prodigy”. Initially Zuckerberg launch a website in with pictures of two male or female with an option for viewers to select “who is hotter”? This website gained high popularity within campus over a weekend and on the very next working day college restricted use of this website as it was restricting Harvard’s network switches and also this website was reported as an improper one by the college students. This triggered Mark to develop a new platform and on February 4, 2004, he launched a social media platform that was initially named TheFacebook.
Within the time span of 6 years this social media platform gained a milestone of 500 million users and number of users itself narrates the success story of this platforms and ultimately of Mark.
